xQc breaks silence on why top GTA RP streamers were left out of NoPixel 5.0

NoPixel 5.0 has brought a wave of excitement back to GTA RP, but the return has also reignited an old question: who gets a spot on the server? Several familiar names were missing from the whitelist when the latest version was released. Now, NoPixel co-owner xQc has addressed the controversy, arguing that some streamers were left out due to their own decisions and past conflicts with the server.

NoPixel 5.0 was released on September 8 and attracted a lot of attention from the GTA RP community. Some well-known role players returned for the new chapter, while others who had been closely associated with previous versions were nowhere to be found.Among those missing are LordKebun, PENTA, Silent and Summit1G. Their absence quickly became a topic of conversation among viewers, particularly as these creators have played important roles in the broader GTA RP scene.Summit1G had already addressed the situation with its audience before the launch. He didn’t seem interested in turning the matter into a larger dispute.“I don’t even know how to answer the question. We’re not on NoPixel, that’s how it works,” he told viewers. “I only have good things to say about NoPixel, but drama is drama, no matter where you are.”xQc offered a different perspective. Speaking about the situation involving Chang Gang, he said he did not see the lack of invitations as evidence of a major dispute. Instead, he pointed to the group’s earlier decision to leave NoPixel and find their own server.“The way I see it, CG abandoned the server, created their own server, had this whole thing about their own server and they’re happy. But then it’s a big drama because they’re not on it? They excluded themselves,” he said.His comments suggest that xQc sees the situation less as a blacklist and more as the natural result of decisions made by the streamers themselves.

xQc says past criticism affected NoPixel invites

The NoPixel co-owner also addressed the broader group of roleplayers who didn’t receive invites. According to xQc, some people had previously criticized the server, its developers, and its players before getting involved in competing projects.“A bunch of people went off and badmouthed the entire server, the developers, and the players, while simultaneously trying to do this huge coordinated agency/agency takeover/poaching campaign by making this hashtag ad without a hashtag ad, which is also kind of unethical,” he said.“It’s a complete disguise. The way you put it is just crazy. It’s false.”There are also other explanations for some missing players. Some roleplayers reportedly lost their whitelist during previous versions of NoPixel following bans, while others simply moved to different communities or stopped playing GTA RP altogether.For Summit1G, however, xQc suggested that the door is not necessarily closed. He said Summit could ask to come back if he wanted, but the streamer decided not to because his friends aren’t involved.“Summit, if he wants, he can ask and he can play. He doesn’t want to play because the other guys aren’t there. It’s nothing, there’s no problem, there’s no solution. If there was a problem, there would be a solution. I don’t really understand it, to be honest with you.”The debate is unlikely to go away quickly.
