India Bike Week 2026 dates announced

The dates of the India Bike Week event, considered the largest motorcycle festival in the country, were announced to be December 4-5, 2026. The festival returns to Panchgani, Maharashtra for the second consecutive year, away from Vagator, Goa. Last year, the change came after the dates of the local Zilla Parisad elections conflicted with the dates of the event.

Aside from the location change that appears to be permanent, the itinerary remains as packed as ever with two days of various events aimed at motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts of all types. According to the schedule posted on the organization’s website, there are five different races, three musical performances (the artist line-up has yet to be revealed), and other staples such as concession stands and equipment. Races vary between dirt, off-road, time trial and sand. Each race requires separate registrations and registration for the races is separate from registration for the event itself. Runners interested in competing will need to have an FMSCI license, although the website clarifies that a single license can be obtained by registering for one (or more) of the races. The organization has also announced a surprise performance by an international athlete.

There are also events scheduled for custom builds, stunt shows, camping and bonfires. The first of which, ‘The Jameson Ginger Ale The final winner will be selected at IBW and will travel to the Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2027 to present their design.

Curators and judges for the other custom building exhibitions include popular names like Candida Louis, Yogi Chhabria and Arjun Raina. IBW is organizing trips to the event from major cities and has also announced event-specific products. If you prefer to travel to a minimum, IBW has partnered with freight operators to ship your motorcycle to Pune or Satara; More details about which will be revealed soon. Visitors to the event will be able to see the IBW Expo with more than 100 retailers. Lastly, IBW has partnered with Panchgani Hotels Association to offer visitors the best deals and curated stay packages.

While we continue to wait for more details on other major highlights, including music programming, speakers, and new motorcycle launches, if you’re hearing about IBW for the first time, organizers are clarifying that owning a motorcycle is not a criterion for attending the event, and it’s open to fans from all walks of life.

Apart from all these details, registrations have been opened with early bird offers that will be launched on September 12, 2026. The offers are limited to the first 3,000 buyers and individual passes start at Rs 1,999 for the regular tier for one day and go up to Rs 7,000 for the Platinum tier for both days. Bulk bookings for up to 25 people are also offered, bringing the individual price down to Rs 2,699 for both days; More details and reservations are available on the website. Last year, refunds were offered for tickets when the venue changed from Goa to Maharashtra. On this occasion, the website clarifies that tickets are not refundable or transferable.
