After an eventful episode of Monday Night Raw, we know the next challenges for the newly crowned King and Queen of the Ring, and we know the two biggest matches scheduled for SummerSlam in Minneapolis.

What New Matches Are Added To The WWE SummerSlam Card?
WWE is clearly looking to get out ahead of the SummerSlam promotion. They let fans know ahead of time what the marquees will be in Minneapolis.
Raw turned a set of rumors into an actual lineup. The boss is Femi vs. Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell, a creative swing set as the culmination of an entertaining feud that began before WrestleMania.
The second match confirmed is Reigns vs. Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, a benefit WWE teased during the post-Shield booking years. Attached to the side of the title match set for Sky-Morgan, the card now has three attractions before the women’s, tag, US, Intercontinental and Zayn headlines are filled.
Why Did Oba Femi Pick Brock Lesnar Over The Title Picture?
It was obvious that Oba needed to close the Lesnar chapter before chasing the title.
As King of the Ring, Femi held a guaranteed chance for the SummerSlam world title, and WWE made him return it – or at least postpone it – to settle the score with Lesnar instead, with Adam Pearce on screen confirming the choice.
It is a deliberate move to protect the image of the title while promoting Femi with a myth test rather than a belt.
The frame also hinges on continuity: WWE signed Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 before bringing him back as an obstacle in Femi’s path, and the company has spent months building up Femi’s rise as a top-card project.
Putting him in a Hell in a Cell match with Lesnar ensures that Femi is given a ticket to the top.
What’s at stake in Roman rule vs. Seth Rollins?
World Heavyweight Championship, but it will also be considered a battle between the kings of this era.
Reigns accepted the challenge of Rollins and Jacob Fatu in his corner, keeping the Bloodline team connected to his main event. For Rollins, it’s a chance to retaliate against a rival WWE has positioned as the backbone of the last decade of programming. That’s right
What is important is about the shape of the legacy as a belt. WWE is selling this as a chapter that decides who is actually out before their shared era, which is exactly the kind of pole-driven hook that goes into the show.
What’s Next on the Road to SummerSlam?
A big open series for Zayn’s title defense.
Coming off of his shocking Night of Champions win, Zayn does not have an opponent booked. That will be fixed on Smackdown, although Jey Uso said something about challenging him on Friday. I hope that is not the answer.
Wait for the next few weeks of Raw and SmackDown to fill out the women’s tag picture and resolve Zayn’s question. With the Hell in a Cell image supporting half of the marketing and the Reigns-Rollins storyline driving the other, WWE has its own two tents.
