Tamil star Suriya is enjoying a positive phase in his career as after the huge success of ‘Karuppu’, his latest film ‘Vishwanath and Sons’, released on Friday, is also having a solid run at the box office. ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ live numbers

According to live figures from trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ collected over Rs 96 lakh on the 5th. The film is playing in 2,164 viewers with 19% occupancy.Yesterday, on day 4, it collected over Rs 7.80 crore from 4,962 shows. During its opening weekend, the film earned huge numbers as it earned Rs 15.35 crore on the opening day and Rs 22.25 crore and Rs 20.55 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.The latest figures have taken the film’s total net collection in India to around Rs 66.91 crore, while its gross collection in India stands at around Rs 77.40 crore so far.

Box office numbers in different versions

The Tamil version contributed Rs 54 lakh, registering 17% occupancy in 1290 shows, while the Telugu version earned Rs 42 lakh in 874 shows, registering 22% occupancy. These are actual figures and Tuesday’s final take is expected to be higher once the full day of activity is added.
