Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ continued its theatrical career with a strong performance on its second Saturday. The family drama recorded an impressive increase in collections compared to the previous day.According to Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated net worth of 7.25 crores in India on the 9th. It was screened in 3,007 shows. Saturday’s collection was 61.1% higher than the net Rs 4.50 million earned on the 8th.The latest figures have taken ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ to a net total in India of Rs 93.35 crore. Its gross collection in India reached Rs 107.97 crore. The film had earned Rs 81.60 crore during its first week.

Global gross amount exceeds Rs 160 crore

‘Vishwanath and Sons’ added approximately Rs 2 crore to its overseas gross on the 9th. Its overseas gross collection has now reached Rs 52.25 crore. With the latest figures added, the film’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 160.22 crore.Saturday’s good performance was also reflected in the show’s occupancy. The Tamil action film earned an estimated net worth of 1.62 crores in India on the 16th.The collection came from 1,047 shows. It represents an increase of 47.3% compared to the net 1.10 million rupees obtained on the 15th. The latest figures have taken ‘DC’ to a net total in India of Rs 64.21 crore. Its gross collection in India currently stands at Rs 73.94 crore. The film’s second week collection was Rs 19.59 crore.
