Ariana Grande’s First Two Albums Reach New Peaks a Decade After Their Release

Earlier this month, Ariana Grande brought her Eternal Sunshine tour to the UK. The singer will only play a handful of dates in select cities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and in the latter country, she will only perform in London at the O2 Arena.
Grande’s British concert series began on August 15 and ends on September 1, when the tour will conclude. The Grammy winner is much loved in the UK and her return has sparked a massive return to the charts this week. Most of the actress and musician’s albums reappear on various charts and, in some cases, some of her early projects reach new all-time highs.

Sincerely returns to four charts in the UK this week, and in half of them, Grande’s debut full-length, which helped make her the star she is today, hits a new record. The set re-enters the Official Physical Albums and Official Album Sales charts at numbers 25 and 27, respectively. Both positions mark new peaks for release in more than a decade.

On the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums Chart, Sincerely reappears at number 1. The project has spent 79 weeks somewhere on the genre-selective count, although only two of those frames have been in first place.
Sincerely released on the chart at No. 2 in September 2013. It took just over 10 years before Grande’s debut studio LP finally reached the top of the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. Now, just under three years later, he is back on top.

my everything also returns to four UK charts simultaneously. The singer’s sophomore offering re-enters the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 17, which now ranks as his all-time peak on the chart. This chart marks the first top 20 appearance of Grande’s second album.
my everything first reached the vinyl count in 2019. The collection subsequently improved to #24 in 2022, remaining the highest point it had climbed to until this period. The same feature film also returns to the Official Physical Albums, Official Album Sales and Official Albums charts simultaneously.

Grande claims more spots than any other artist on this week’s Official Vinyl Albums chart. All eight of their traditional studio LPs appear somewhere on the list. The collection moves up the Official Vinyl Albums, Official Physical Albums, and Official Album Sales charts, while moving down the Official Albums, Official Album Streaming, and Official Album Downloads charts.
