During a recent interview with Manorama News, Parvathy Thiruvothu was asked if the controversy had affected her career. Actor remembers the action of the Kerala Women’s Commission

Parvathy Thiruvothu also pointed out that the controversy around ‘Kasaba’ did not start with her comments. He pointed out that the Kerala Women’s Commission had already taken action on the film.“Even before I said what I said, the Women’s Commission itself had filed a suo motu case against that film. “It’s not that my words hurt anyone’s ego,” he said.In July 2016, the Kerala Women’s Commission issued notices to Mammootty, director and producer of ‘Kasaba’. The film was screened in 13,400 shows on Monday.Its net collection in India has now reached Rs 221.55 crore. India’s gross collection stands at Rs 264.80 crore. The film also earned Rs 2 crore in overseas markets on the 6th. Along with Yash, ‘Toxic’ also has Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Sudev Nair and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles.
