President Donald Trump has addressed speculation about the danger of flying home from a NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, amid Iranian threats, saying he is not going home on the new Air Force One because the plane is being sent to the United Kingdom.

“He flies to Europe, to one of the biggest bases,” Trump said. “Two or three big bases where we can show people. And we’ll be going home in the usual ways.”

Trump said the plane will stop at “several bases,” including one in particular, “so the military can see it, because it’s really beautiful.”
